The primary purpose of the Program Sales Associate position is to develop, maintain and grow existing and new industrial vendor and dealer both retail and wholesale opportunities by meeting quota of new business volume ($60.0MM; $10MM primary and $50MM overlay) and other targets.  These relationships will ultimately result in generating profitable finance transactions that produce new business volume.  The Program Sales Associate is point of contact to the vendor, therefore responsible for all aspects of the vendor business.  They’re also responsible for assisting the regional reps with closing some business and being a relationship hand-off to our business development rep.


  • Responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing transactions within the industrial sector, working with manufacturers, vendor, and end user customers.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain sales plan to meet/exceed assigned sales & margin quotas including:
  • Strategies to grow existing wholesale and retail dealer accounts.
  • Develop new customer relationships
  • Pro-actively offer financing products to vendors in assigned (drive/maximize volume/increase penetration
  • Target, qualify, and close finance transactions via telephone.
  • Meet or exceed sales objectives measured by funded volume of $60 million, or as assigned
  • Complete an appropriate number of outbound customer/prospect contacts (described in terms of number of calls per day)
  • Provide high-quality customer/prospect interactions
  • Representative will be spending time both in the office, and visiting key wholesale relationship


  • Experience in sales techniques (effective needs analysis, negotiation, and closing)
  • Understanding of the key vendor program agreements
  • Strong understanding of account management concepts and tactics
  • Effective organization, time management and follow up skills
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management (internally and in customer organization)
  • Demonstration of a high level of initiative
  • Strong organization and follow-up skills
  • Strong knowledge of finance transactions including pricing, credit, and documentation (program and dealer agreements)
  • The ability to work independently but also demonstrate performance in a team setting, and, work with both internal/external partner to achieve results
  • Knowledge or experience using CRM (such as SFDC) a plus
  • Flexible with ability to travel
