    Responsibilities

    We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous cybersecurity analytics specialist to join our growing team. In the role you will operate independently and as part of a team to ensure our software, hardware, and related components are protected from cyber-attacks. The job description will include developing detection/prevention capabilities, handling any and all cyber-attacks in an efficient and effective manner. Candidates should have strong IT skills and a deep understanding of cyber hacker methodology.
    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Develop detection/prevention rules within SIEM
    • Monitor network for security threats
    • Work with other IT and Corporate Functions to enhance detection/prevention capabilities
    • Investigate security breaches and other cyber security incidents
    • Stay current on Cyber Security trends and news
    • Research best ways to secure company-wide IT infrastructure and cloud environments

     

    Qualifications

    Cybersecurity Analytics Specialist Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
    • Strong IT skills including knowledge of hardware, software and networks
    • Knowledge of SIEM technologies
    • Scripting Experience
    • Thorough work ethic, attention to detail
    • Critical thinking skills, problem solving aptitude
    • Forensic approach to challenges
    • Ability to think like a hacker and anticipate hacker moves
    • Desire to self-educate on the ever-changing landscape of cyber hacking tactics
    • Experience in professional cybersecurity a plus
    • Experience in cloud security a plus
