    Responsibilities

      • This individual will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities within the Client Onboarding Screening team.
      • The candidate will have direct oversight of the team and any issues that may impact the achievement of team objectives.
      • They will be responsible for developing team members and load balancing work between onshore and offshore.
      • To be successful in this role you are expected to create a culture of excellence, team work and apply an analytical mind to daily work.
      • Supervise day-to-day activities of the Screening team-ensure hits/alerts are handled in accordance with defined procedures and meet standards for both quality and deadlines
      • Be the subject matter expert (SME) and direct the team – onshore and offshore
      • Analyzing alert/hits statistics/metrics, to identify trends, escalation rates and training gaps
      • Review daily, weekly and monthly metrics to assess performance, adherence to SLA and trends
      • Identify gaps and resulting opportunities for process improvements/efficiency gains
      • Assist in QA with performing 4 eye checks on random samples
      • Coach and mentor junior staff
      • Assist with capacity planning analysis
      • Vendor relationship management for one or more systems
      • Developing or enhancing procedures to address and eliminate any potential risk; to include process mapping as needed

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years previous experience in KYC or Customer Screening
    • Working knowledge of Screening systems preferred e.g. Lexis Nexis, CLEAR, RDC, Actmize, Total Screening
    • Aptitude to research, analyze and resolve problems
    • Act with a sense of urgency and the ability to “own” problems and recommend creative solutions
    • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to present complex concepts in a simple manner
    • Ability to apply rational thinking – especially around gray areas as it relates to AML risk
    • Experience writing desktop procedures and incorporating controls
    • Experience creating process flow maps
    • Experience developing KPIs and KRIs and reporting results monthly to management preferred
    • Previous experience managing a team; exposure to cross site team management is a plus
