    The VP, Consumer Banking FP&A will provide financial planning and analytics support for our Consumer Banking Segment. The role centers on the creation of business volume driven financial forecasts and budgets. Additionally, the candidate will work closely with business unit leaders to help them understand monthly results, explain changes in trends and variances to business plans, and partner to prepare analytics that will drive business strategy and outcomes. Strong problem solving and communication skills are a must.



    • Provide written analysis and interpretation of results
    • Work with business areas to resolve needs and builds/maintain the budget from the ground up
    • Prepare forecasting and explanations of variance to budget to management/FP&A
    • Explain financial practices and accounting treatments to internal/external auditors
    • Recommend changes to the budget based on management strategies, business activities and for future needs
    • Build and prepare monthly financial reports for Executives and managers



    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
    • 5+ years of work experience in financial planning and analytics, or in finance within a banking organization
    • Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas)
    • Familiarity with finance databases
    • Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts
    • Demonstrable strategic thinking skills
    • Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
    • Previous experience working large data sets is required
    • Experience forecasting or accounting for loans or deposits is a plus
    • Skillful Excel user, with Hyperion, Essbase, or SmartView experience is a plus
    • Strong problem solving and communication skills are a must
