    Overview

     

    The Data Analyst Lead will serve as a project lead for the CIT enterprise data management team. This individual will deal with complex, interrelated applications and systems, and will work with technologies and internal stakeholders to analyze and define solutions for achieving strategic business goals.

     

    • Implement project design for a portfolio of projects supporting the CIT data program roadmap
    • Responsible for project design, responsible for managing definition and documentation of requirements and ensuring integrity throughout all phases of the data project lifecycle
    • Actively participate in defining and governing our data management strategy for CIT, as well as being an advocate for and implementer of best practices in data management on all initiatives
    • Critical contributor to CIT’s enterprise Data Management organization

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of relevant technology management experience with enterprise data management programs as well as managing senior level individuals, in a multi-line business environment
    • High proficiency with SQL queries and database management
    • Ability to communicate effectively with technology experts in various computing
    • Drive identification of requirements across business units and identify substandard systems processes through evaluation of real-time data
    • Serve as thought leader for technical business processes, developing forward-thinking systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels
    • Strong understanding in DQ, metadata, & reference/master data management
    • Understand the changing business needs and how it impacts the deliverables and recommend solutions
    • Ability to recognize and implement common data patterns and best practices
    • Ability to create a productive environment that promotes initiative, innovation, and continual improvement
    • Strong leadership, communication, and management skills
    • Experience in finance or financial analysis a plus
    • Experience with BI tools
    • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field
