    The VP Executive Recruiter will manage high level and confidential searches for senior management positions within CIT. It is expected that you will proactively manage the recruiting process by understanding talent attraction and selection challenges, as well as business priorities. The successful candidate will develop comprehensive talent sourcing strategies to build diverse talent pools and pipelines. By consistently applying excellent client and stakeholder management approaches to talent attraction, you'll ensure a professional and “first in class” hiring manager and candidate experience for both internal and external talent.


    Leveraging your deep knowledge of business driven talent needs, you will undertake to attract, recruit and evaluate executive-level talent for CIT. Ultimately, you will serve as the curator of comprehensive searches that uncover talent for the most influential roles. In this role, you'll collaborate with Senior HR Officers, Executive Compensation and Senior Business and Function Leaders to align key talent objectives and execute an end to end recruitment process.  If the opportunity presents itself, you will attend industry executive recruiting events and other professional forums to stay abreast of industry trends and contribute to the design, implementation and improvement of the executive recruiting processes.





    • Minimum 15 years of experience in recruiting; majority in Financial Services industry at the Executive level in a Corporate environment and/or Top executive search firm.
    • Proven expertise in proactive sourcing of passive candidates from multiple platforms in addition to working with executive referrals.
    • Comfortable recruiting in all disciplines.
    • History of collaborating with senior executives and business leaders from top-tier companies.
    • Extensive knowledge of Executive Compensation Plans and Structures. Able to clearly communicate expectations and offers with multiple factors and complex plans.
    • Experience working with and presenting to senior leadership.
    • Strong executive presence; effective listener with excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Proven teamwork capabilities; strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.
    • Attentive to details and deadlines; ability to manage multiple initiatives and deliver accurate reports. Must be able to roll up sleeves, manage through ambiguity, and solve complex situations.
