    Responsibilities

    This technical resource will serve as the primary support person for the CIT Collibra implementation. This person will lead the technical support of the Collibra data governance platform by supporting multiple environments/instances and leading the maintenance of the environments in accordance with the Collibra product roadmap. The role includes supporting the existing implementation while also executing the upgrade of the product to 5.x and implementing Collibra Connect as the primary integration vehicle (replacing the previous integration implementation). This key role will provide Collibra support and expertise to the CIT data governance team members while ensuring optimal contribution of Collibra from a functionality as well as performance standpoint. Another aspect of this position is the technical support for the CIT Data Governance Hub (DG Hub), an external SQKL Server database which is integrated with Collibra and used as a central repository for data governance data interfacing with other key CIT systems. The candidate should possess sound knowledge of user management, metamodel configuration, product license management, database backup and restore, metrics and traceability groups and systems integration

    Qualifications

    • Collibra 5.x technical implementation and support experience, preferably with Ranger certification
    • Experience designing and building data integrations between Collibra and related databases using Collibra Connect
    • Working knowledge of enterprise data governance concepts and processes
    • Collibra administration experience supporting product versions and implementing product upgrades
    • Relational database modeling & object modeling experience
    • Working with both technical staff and business partners to translate requirements into technical implementations
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and break down a problem to identify root cause
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
    Good to have:
    • Implementing/supporting/modifying ETL & data integration processes to accommodate changes in source systems and new business user requirements
    • RDBM experience with 5+ years professional experience in database development using SQL Server
    • Experience with Java and REST API
    • Development experience using Python
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related degree
