    Responsibilities

    The Healthcare (HC) Vice President / Director will support the HC Real Estate and Asset Based Lending Underwriting team and lead underwriting new and existing HC transactions. The Senior Underwriter candidate will lead all stages of a transaction including financial modeling, structuring, due diligence, credit approval, legal documentation and the closing/syndication process.


    The position requires a candidate to successfully interact with multiple internal constituencies (i.e. Credit, Capital Markets, Loan Closing teams, etc.) and external clients, (i.e. investors, lender and borrower counsel, etc.).

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree required and Healthcare background and MBA Preferred
    • 8+ years' experience in Healthcare Real Estate and ABL, with a focus on credit underwriting and new deal execution
    • Ability to lead a deal team in the execution of new Real Estate (i.e. MOB, SNF, ALF, Independent Living) and ABL transactions and to effectively manage multiple project deadlines                         
    • Strong quantitative / analytical skills including credit underwriting, financial modeling, writing and attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
