    In this position you will be responsible for leading business continuity risk initiatives in accordance with relevant legal, regulatory and business requirements to mitigate risks associated with business disruptions. You will work with a variety of key stakeholders throughout the front-line units and help mature the resiliency risk management function.

    • Support training/awareness activities for front line business units and all employees
    • Perform oversight, credible challenge, and quality assurance and control testing activities to ensure front line units have adequately prepared for business disruptions
    • Facilitate testing and assessments to evaluate front line unit preparedness and control effectiveness
    • Perform Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Risk Assessments (RA) to assist front line units with determining acceptable recovery time periods, resource requirements, and risks associated with a business disruption
    • Perform gap analyses against business requirements and current recovery capabilities
    • Create presentation materials that will be used for management reporting and reporting to Business Unit Senior Management and select committees of the Board
    • Oversee or directly responsible for remediation of program gaps identified by regulatory agencies or Internal Audit
    • Develop and maintain program standards, policies, and procedures
    • Identify process improvement opportunities and lead and/or monitor implementation


    Required Competencies:

    • Project management and leadership abilities with proven ability to work in a cross functional environment
    • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong teamwork and relationship building skills  
    • Intermediate to advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
    • Sharepoint knowledge a plus
    • Ability to function independently and exercise good judgement


    • 5+ years of experience in business continuity planning/disaster recovery
    • Demonstrated experience with risk evaluation and control, business impact analysis, business continuity planning and testing, developing risk and performance based metrics
    • Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or related risk certification preferred
    • Financial services work experience preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Able to effectively lead and organize meetings
    • Prior experience in IT Risk or Operational Risk or Audit a plus
