    CIT is looking for an energetic individual to join the Human Resources team to help drive the firm’s strategic initiatives. CIT offers a highly experiential and challenging career opportunity with exposure to the firms businesses and senior management. The HR Generalist will have exposure to key functional and business assignments across the organization. The HR Generalist will have a unique opportunity to not only gain exposure but to get involved and contribute in all facets of the human resources platform including Talent Acquisition, Date Analytics &HRIS, Compensation & Benefits and Talent Management.


    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Interprets, monitors and analyzes all HR data and metrics (new hires, budget, headcount, termination, turnover, promotion, year-end comp, talent, performance management, etc.) to create various reports/queries to analyze metrics
    • Processes HR transactions in a timely manner and ensure data accuracy
    • Works with other team members to assess and evaluate requests and needs from the various business functions
    • Supports the Senior HR Business Partners and HR Generalists in understanding organizational changes and impacts
    • Identifies and develops internal process improvements and system enhancements
    • Participates in the annual salary planning process
    • Performs other duties as assigned


    • 1-2 years of HR experience preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Human Resources
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Ability to organize and analyze large datasets, detect and correct errors, interpret and report results
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Creativity, resourcefulness and insight
    • Strong leadership, teamwork, and relationship building skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to express ideas in a confident, organized and articulate manner
    • Ability to function independently and as part of a cross-functional team
    • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel (i.e. pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
