    Business Capital provides leasing and equipment financing, along with factoring, solutions to small businesses and middle market companies in a wide range of industries on both a private label and direct basis.  We provide financing solutions for our borrowers and lessees, and assist manufacturers and distributors in growing sales, profitability and customer loyalty by providing customized, value-added finance solutions to their commercial clients. 


    Reporting to the President of Business Capital, the Director of Product Development Head is responsible for leading a team that drives business opportunities with manufacturers, vendors, end users and strategic partners. 


    • Support the development team and assist with prioritization and rollout of enhancements, communication, training and elevations
    • Responsible for prioritization of Business Capitals technology products and enhancements
    • Drive more account activity through integrated portals and usage based billing
    • Key stakeholder for system enhancements; prioritization, training, rollout implementations
    • Onboarding new prospective and existing customers responsible for completing all phases of integration, Credit, Booking and Lease Management
    • Responsible for generating new business leveraging technology products across enterprise
    • Responsible for training field sales representatives and business developers.
    • Develop trusted and fluid partnerships with stakeholders across the firm and entities outside of the business


    • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus
    • 5+ years related financial services experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a management strategy role
    • Has successfully navigated in matrixed organizations the launch of a new product or initiative
    • Enterprise-wide thinker that engages in support of company directives
    • Proven ability to negotiate with and influence key stakeholders
    • Proven track record of creating and delivering presentations specifically designed to win support/approval for large scale projects
    • Self-Starter with a demonstrated ability to design and manage enterprise projects
    • Ability to drive results by identifying and resolving significant problems within scope of responsibility
