    A successful Senior Business Analyst will need to develop an in-depth knowledge of business area in order to assess and manage the effect of requested business changes. Must possess a strong sense of project management rigor, leadership, organization and communication with the ability to respond to a dynamic environment.  This position works with stakeholders to elicit, understand, analyze, document, refine and communicate business needs so that business and/or technical delivery teams can build effective solutions. Must be an active part of the Reengineering team's design sessions ensuring that subject matter experts (SMEs) are building a better workflow than current state.  The focus of any IT development will be creating workflow and case management within Pega applications, so knowledge of the various frameworks and Agile Studio is preferred.  This requires a detailed understanding of internal customer needs, as well as business vision and strategy, to prioritize investment, business value and delivery. Will also work with the business and IT delivery teams to identify and mitigate risks including business operational risks. Must be able to operate in a rapid environment, working with IT, Finance and Compliance resources in anticipation of deployments to avoid delays.  Will communicate rollout details and expectations to various levels of the organization.  Responsibilities include:


    • Serve as a liaison between Reengineering, Operations and IT to gather detailed business requirements and document user stories needed for system modifications, enhancement and implementations
    • Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others; identifying and initiating projects; managing resources; driving the resolution of issues; and holding self and team accountable for results
    • Work with SMEs and end users to draft UAT scripts using for business scenario testing (post-QA)
    • Train and educate stakeholders and end users on launches and assist the Product Owner as needed
    • Produce project materials at all stages of project development lifecycle - current state flows, detailed business requirements, functional specifications, test plans, and user training materials
    • Lead project coordination effort with major business and technology stakeholders
    • Work with technology and business owners to ensure initiatives are properly prioritized
    • Balance short term needs with long term strategic view and wherever necessary create short term solutions until the long term solution is ready


    • Must have experience working on large scale projects or programs as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business
    • Candidate should be a self-starter and be able to navigate through multiple lines of businesses, stakeholders and manage delivery across multiple technology teams
    • Candidate should understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders
    • Ability to work independently and remain flexible and organized throughout projects in a fast paced environment
    • Strong project management, strong relationship building & communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including MS Project, SharePoint and Visio is necessary
    • Data analysis – Must have proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Excel, PPT and ability to present results
    • Experience with Agile methodologies, requirements gathering, user stories, and working alongside developers and testers - this includes experience with software applications such as TFS or JIRA
    • Experience with Pega preferred, if none, Analyst will be required to take Pega Business Architect training and get certified within 6 months
    • Up to 50% travel may be required
    • 7 or more years of experience
