    The Vice President of Marketing is responsible for the strategy, tactics and programs to create interest, demand and recognition for Direct Capital and its products  In addition, to ensure the product is demand driven, the VP works with Product Marketing, Management, and cross functional CIT Marketing teams to ensure the right mix of awareness, positioning and marketing occurs.  This position is also responsible for planning and managing all marketing functions to achieve the division’s objective of volume while ensuring a consistent marketing message and positioning that is consistent with the corporate direction.


    Required Skillset:

    • Remain strategical, tactical and program oriented, in that order.
    • Responsible for creating annual or biannual overarching strategic and tactical segmented marketing plans that drive demand for products and services.
    • Conduct and analyze market research to determine risk and marketability of products and features.  Responsible for competitive analysis, strategies and tactics.
    • Measure effectiveness of the marketing department and programs, give performance readouts and implement improvements.
    • Manage and train existing and new marketing staff and facilitate career growth.
    • Work with cross functional marketing team to ensure the proper amount and type of press coverage and awareness through advertising

    Participate in creating strategic partnerships and develop effective channel marketing programs to drive referral leads for sales.


    • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of professional experience in marketing.
    • Strong work ethic and highly collaborative with management and cross-functional teams.
    • Comfortable managing many diverse cross-channel projects and working across a broad set of stakeholders.
    • Highly strategic and proactive mindset with strong critical thinking skills.
    • Solid in developing strategies that can become marketing tactics and that can drive awareness and demand generation while also showing proficiency with data collection and analysis across a variety of channels.
    • A self-starter with a results-oriented approach. 
    • Strong Microsoft Office and presentation skills.
    • Familiarity with CRM and Marketing Automation tools like Salesforce and Marketo.
