The Marketing and Communications Specialist will report to the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer and have responsibility for measurement and analysis of programs, budget, vendor management, project management, creating presentations, and writing functional communications. This is a key role working directly with the CMCO and the Marketing and Communications leadership team. This role will offer solid training ground for future roles in Marketing and Communications.

Primary responsibilities will include:


  • Work closely with Chief Marketing and Communications Officer and handle communications and management routines for the function.
  • Work with the functional leadership team on key efforts as a project manager and support partner.
  • Assist with research projects that drive communications and marketing efforts. 
  • Create management presentations and written communications. 
  • Manage key performance metrics for the function and create regular reporting process.
  • Manage the budget and surrounding process.
  • Manage vendor processes and relationships, within the broader company framework. 



  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of professional experience in communications, marketing or related areas. 
  • Very strong writing ability
  • Strong PowerPoint skills
  • Proficiency with data collection and analysis across a variety of channels
  • A creative and can-do spirit 
  • Strong work ethic and highly collaborative 
  • Comfortable managing many diverse projects and working across a broad set of stakeholders
  • Highly strategic and proactive mindset with strong critical thinking skills
  • A self-starter with a results-oriented approach.
