• Reconciles and balances Cash-on-Hand g/l accounts.
• Reconciles and balances Teller Exchange g/l accounts.
• Complete teller variance research in accordance with the Service Level Agreement (SLA) of 72 hours.
• Performs research & resolves Teller Insight Dashboard differences
• Prints and disseminates Teller Insight reports received from the retail offices.
• Performs research & resolves items posted in the suspense g/l accounts: CD/Savings Suspense (23303), Rejects Suspense (27000) and outstanding Official Checks.
• Print teller cash reports and g/l reports.
• Pre-balances Teller Exchange g/l accounts.
• Prepare retail office balancing envelopes.
• Prepares and process adjustment entries as required.
• Prepare monthly verification and certification of relevant g/l accounts.
• Files completed and approved branch-balancing envelopes.
• Maintain accurate and legible production logs.
• Meets unit established productivity and quality/timeliness ratings.
• Maintains a clean and organize workstation.
• Prepares cash balancing boxes for offsite storage.
• Perform cash reconstruction process for large teller variances.
• Consistently completes “2nd review” variance research in less than 120 hours.
• Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.


• Has excellent knowledge and understanding of retail office operation.• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the “Image Processing’ as opposed to “Item Processing” environment.• Has the ability to differentiate “live / real time” transactions versus “Proof of Deposit (POD) Transactions” (item) processing.• Ability to analyze, recognize and understand the types of out of the norm cash related transactions, such as mortgage payments, loan payments, Traveler’s checks purchase, Cashier’s Checks purchase, TT&L payments, client cash exchange requests (i.e. client change $100 bill to 5 $20 bills), Service fees, etc.• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.• Has excellent knowledge and understanding of the Branch Capture system.
• Has the ability to use ten keys by touch.• Excellent knowledge of MS software programs such as Excel and Word.• Detail oriented, excellent organizational and time management skills.• Has ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of Bank Personnel, clients and business associates.• Ability to lift and carry a box of records that typically weigh 25 to 50 pounds
