  • Build, design and implement financial applications. As part of the Oracle Hyperion Essbase, DRM, and Planning team, responsible for technical development, administration and maintenance of Oracle EPM solutions financial software.
  • Develop EPM and Essbase applications and artifacts, including BSO and ASO Essbase formulas for EPM applications, metrics, rules, and calcs.
  • Perform Release and Change Delivery, following SDLC and Change Management best practices.
  • Work closely with members of the finance department to help produce monthly forecasts, annual plans, SEC filings, and operational and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Work closely with the IT department to maintain technical system infrastructure requirements and enhance and implement financial system integrations.
  • Work with EPM, BI and Data Repositories to deliver financial solutions.
  • Enhance and improve existing processes and recommend changes where needed to limit financial system glitches.
  • Gather business requirements and translate into technical requirements for to effect system enhancements.
  • Development, maintenance and support of Metadata components of the system (including DRM and mapping cubes).
  • Patch and Upgrade analysis and testing. Windows and UNIX servers break/fix analysis and resolution.
  • Development and support of ad-hoc and canned reports. Assist in responding to SOX and Audit requests and documentation.
  • Maintain and enhance automation framework partnering with ETL & automation developers.
  • Track and analyze system and batch failures and debug as necessary


Minium of five years of Hyperion EPM system experience.


Desired experience:


  • Oracle EPBCS and PCMCS development and maintenance experience;
  • Installation and configuration of EPM system in production, test and development environment;
  • development and testing of business rules and calc scripts required for running applications in Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase;
  • providing production support for existing applications and disaster recovery;
  • maintaining security groups and access for users across Oracle Hyperion applications;
  • developing financial expense models to calculate Profit and Loss, assets and liabilities accounts, and banking key metrics.
