    This position will report to the VP of Operational Risk & Controls and will support the Operational Risk & Controls Team in carrying out operational risk and internal control requirements for Technology and Operations.


    • Responsible for oversight of Technology and Operations Risk Event Data Collection (“EDC”) process in accordance with documented policy and procedures 
    • Assisting the business unit with identification, collection and reporting of operational risk events (Events)
    • Researching and documenting root cause of Events
    • Analyzing Event trends and/or emerging risks
    • Assisting management with action plan including the quality, completeness and reporting of remediation tasks
    • Accurately reporting of Events in the system (BWise)
    • Preparing monthly reporting
    • Running monthly meetings with senior management to review operational risk events
    • Assist with Risk and Control Self-Assessment (“RCSA”) process in accordance with documented policy and procedures. 
    • Performing annual and quarterly refresh / identification of financial risks with senior management
    • Assessing inherent / residual financial impact and risk rating
    • Identifying controls that mitigate the risks identified
    • Assisting management with drafting and completion of action plans
    • Manage the reporting of key risk indicators to effectively monitor and predict increasing risk conditions


    • Experience with identifying risks / controls, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, process documentation / flowcharts, auditing / testing and operational risk management 
    • Experience with application of Project Management principles
    • Must be comfortable working in conjunction with various levels of management
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapt well to changing priorities to meet deadlines, and work on various initiatives concurrently 
    • Strong sense of urgency with ability to multi-task, take initiative and follow-through
