Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work in the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis group as the key liaison between Treasury and FP&A. The role will be focused on supporting the forecasting and analysis of the Treasury function.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Analyze debt, deposits, investments, FX & derivatives, cash and liability exposure on a quarterly basis vs historical periods as well as forecast and Plan
  • Calculate margin impacts 
  • Analyze yields and balances, funding / liquidity metrics and affiliate deposits and intercompany fundings
  • Work with liquidity team on forecasted cash reconciliations; provide unavailable cash forecast 
  • Work with Investment team on portfolio forecast: obtain New Business assumptions, project CPR and convexity, obtain existing portfolios’ monthly Cash Flows, Book Values, and OCI projections, preparation of Bank HQLA forecasting
  • Convert new business projections to monthly Cash Flows, Book Values, and OCI projections. 
  • Coordinate forecast preparation for FHLB Capacity
  • Load forecast for debt, investments, stock and cash position
  • Update/Maintain the Treasury Master Template: Liquidity – Intercompany Master Note Actions, Deal Transactions, Funding – Debt Issuances, Capital – Share repurchases, Sub-debt issuance, Equity issuance, Dividend payments
  • Prepare cash/securities reconciliation
  • Assist in preparation of quarterly materials required for Board of Directors meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
  • CPA or MBA is preferred
  • 5+ years of financial services experience
  • Demonstrated ability to meet stringent deadlines and work under stressful situation
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • Independent critical thinking with well-developed analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume, team oriented environment
  • Hyperion Essbase proficiency is required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
