The Control-M Workload Automation Analyst will join the existing team and participate in driving the strategy, service delivery and customer support of the Control-M product and service offering.  The candidate will provide job scheduling in both Distributed and Mainframe based environments, liase with business technology personnel, provide product support, deliver end user training, assist with product patches and upgrades and participate in various projects related to Control-M and other supported products.  The candidate will also create robust SOP documentation, training plans, communicate maintenance and assist application teams in job flow logic.


  • Control-M Workload Automation version 8 or 9 and Control-O version 9
  • Mainframe operations experience, Unix command line experience
  • Ability to work with Mainframe JCL, Windows (cmd, powershell) and/or Unix Shell (Korn, C, Bash)
  • Data Center Operations experience in monitoring, incident handling and escalation for Control-M jobs
  • Scheduling experience and knowledge with Control-M on Z/OS Mainframe, working knowledge of TSO/ISPF
  • 3+ years’ experience working with Distributed Control-M in operations including scheduler, or administrator
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong documentation skills, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and permanent problem resolution skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to manage detailed tasks efficiently and effectively

Following additional skills a Plus:

College degree or equivalent,  relevant technical work experience, knowledge of MVS or z/OS mainframe operations. Experience working for financial services, banking, or other regulated organizations.
