The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning, development and implementation of In-Depth Risk Analysis process and activities associated with operational risk management framework. Operational Risk reports into the Head of Enterprise Risk and this position holder will work with a variety of key stakeholders throughout the business lines and corporate functions. The primary focus is to assist in performing In-Dept Risk Analysis. The In-Depth Risk Analysis will involve looking into policies, procedures, process maps, and training related to the chosen theme or significant event approved by the Operation Risk Management team. Responsibilities will include:
•Analyzing business data/process/problems to identify and assess operational risk issues, control weaknesses and risk trends.
•Assisting manager to support relationship model by reaching out to the business regarding updates to or clarification needed on reported events, action plans, RCSA refresher, and be able to provide guidance
•Developing risk management reports for senior management
•Facilitating and developing meeting materials for the Operational team and other committees
•Promoting a risk-aware culture; ensuring efficient and effective risk management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
•Other projects as needed
•2-4 years experience, preferably in Operational Risk
•Conceptual understanding of banking/financial institution
•Strong teamwork and relationship building skills
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Highly motivated with organizational and time management skills
•Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
•Ability to function independently and as part of a team
