    Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will work in the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis group. The role will be focused on analyzing CIT's business and financial performance and related business Segments; Commercial Banking and Consumer Banking.

     

    • Prepare and review monthly and quarterly outlook and business review packages for the executive management committee and board of directors 
    • Key point person to work directly with the business segment FP&A teams in preparing robust reporting packages
    • Exposure to and support provided to the senior vice president FP&A
    • Provide input and decision-making recommendations for improving financial reports for the senior leadership team
    • As the consolidation coordinator, identify opportunities for improvement 
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively interact with cross functional teams and senior management

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
    • 1+ years of experience 
    • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines 
    • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
    • Independent critical thinking with well-developed analytical abilities
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills 
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume, team oriented environment
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
