Database Programmer capable of own/maintaining a number of finance applications and manage database modules. Design, Development, maintenance and production support.


Technical Skills:

  • SQL Developer for Finance IT team with following skills:
  • SQL Server 2008/2010/2012
  • In depth of database design, efficiency optimization.
  • Expert in SQL programming.
  • Experience with SSIS/SSRS

Responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop and maintain various databases used by Finance applications.
  • Focus on scalability, maintainability, testability, security, and performance of databases.
  • Design, develop and maintain a number of SSIS packages.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle
  • Work with other internal CIT teams to architect and implement required solutions
  • Provide month end support that ranges from data loads, running various queries and processes to troubleshoot issues related to financial close.


  • Four year degree or equivalent plus 5 years of relevant experience
  • Must have shown excellence in a multiple skills and technologies
  • Must show a willingness to learn and grow
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to write/modify programs within deadlines and in conformance to standards
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, interfacing with internal peers and first level management group

Database Development

  • Extensive experience with ORM Solutions (Entity Framework)
  • Extensive experience with SQL (tSQL, PL/SQL)
  • Extensive experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle databases

ALM Tools

  • Experience with ALM Tools such as Microsoft TFS, CruiseControl.NET, Bugzilla, Git, SVN
  • Other
  • Extensive experience using a formal Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Follow project management and SDLC disciplines to insure structured and effective implementations
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry, specifically working with financial and banking data and systems
  • Ability to work with multicultural teams and geographically dispersed teams in multiple time zones
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation for assigned projects
